Elevator safety controller
Work from a model-based design internship at Otis Elevator Company, on a safety-critical elevator control platform. Elevator software carries people, so it gets verified before it gets deployed: my main contribution was a comprehensive testing framework with hardware-in-the-loop validation, checking controller behavior against real hardware before it ran on any real system.
